Just as God moved powerfully at the kick-off of the Million Month in 34 different European cities and in numerous concurrent outreaches across the Netherlands, God moved in Sheffield, England.
Recently, the very first ever March4Jesus was organised in Sheffield with 150 churches connected. With faith to see 100s or 1,000s of Christians taking back the streets for Jesus, a citywide day of prayer, worship, and sharing the good news of Jesus right on the streets was organised. As mentioned on their website, ‘’We believe this is a powerful opportunity for the Church to come together in unity, lifting high the name of Jesus and making Him known in every corner of our city. Let’s stand together and believe for a move of God in Sheffield like never before!’’
God moved powerfully as both young and old flooded the streets. During the day, the gospel was preached at four different locations throughout the city. Over 3000 people have heard the gospel being preached. Hands were laid on the sick and over ten people have given their lives to Jesus!
The vision behind the event was passionate and full of hunger for more of God in the United Kingdom: ‘’We believe it’s time to Stand 4 Jesus in the UK in this hour. We are hungry to see revival in our land. We believe God is waiting on the church to stand together rather than fight alone. This march is for every Christian in the UK. This is the first of many.’’
May God continue to expand His Kingdom in the UK and all of Europe in the Summer months. There is a window of opportunity to reap His harvest and many are joining the call to bring the good news!
