Hayley Braun is a senior overseer at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). She was hosted at Sid Roth’s TV show ‘it’s supernatural’. Hayley battled the fear of man for 29 years and testifies how the Lord set her free. During the TV program she shares about an experience with Holy Spirit we read about in revival history books.

‘I had been in ministry for nearly 10 years and had been serving in our school of ministry. But the further I got into ministry, the more the fear of man became prominent in my life. And the more the Lord would put favor on my life, the more afraid I’d become. And so I was gripped with the fear of man every time. Before I spoke, when I spoke, and afterwards, I was just so tormented.’ Hayley was invited into a season of meeting with God that changed her life. She was at a Bethel church service in 2019 where Michael Koulianos was speaking. Hayley was late for the meeting and no one could have known she was in the room. God highlighted her when Koulianos spoke out of the blue: ”Hayley Braun, where are you, prophet?”
The fear of man has to die
Hayley came to the meeting burnt out and shared it was the hardest season of her life. Her body was in full viral fatigue, having shingles and mono at the same time. Being called to come up to the stage she realized she couldn’t do this on her own: ‘I remember walking on stage thinking, “God, I want to say yes to you, but I actually can’t. I don’t know how to say yes to that.” And then God said, “There’s a rumble inside of you that has to be released and the fear of man has to die. I said: “God, I yield to the Word.”

You would think Hayley would get off the floor completely free, but it took some time. She described it as ‘watering seeds’.’I knew I’d received a seed. And if I could water that seed and could lean into that grace, I knew that God could do something. I spent the next three months telling God daily, “God, I give you my shield of the fear of man.’
The empty cross and the empty tomb
While she kept believing God for the miraculous, Hayley’s breakthrough moment came at January 14th, 2020. She was leading a meeting in school and ‘something exploded in the room’. ‘We had just seen a wild outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our ministry school. I prayed that day that we would live before one thing, the empty cross and the empty tomb. I ran across into our main auditorium to make this declaration because I felt this was something God’s presence was on. However, nothing happened in the moment and I walked off stage thinking I was done with my day.
Revival history repeats itself
‘Bill Johnson had just been teaching about revival history and our students were looking at different artifacts from revivals.’ All of a sudden, I just saw a picture flash before my eyes of me beginning to lay hands on our students, actually touch them, grab them by their faces.’ As Hayley stepped forward to pray for the first student the power of God hit her body.
‘It was like a thousand volts of electricity started flowing through my body. The fire of God began to hit my shoulders and my arms.

‘The same power shot through my hands and started touching people. It was like the Holy Spirit overtook me. Within a few minutes, I lost all sense of where I was and what I was doing. I had to be carried out of the room and been driven home’
The power encounter lifted slightly for a couple hours until shared the story again with her husband. The encounter went on for six weeks. It would ebb and flow, but Hayley could always feel the vibration of the spirit. The fear of man was gone and she couldn’t care anymore about the opinions of people. Hayley’s encounter didn’t stay in Redding California, but multiplied when she released it over ministry students and family members. After Hayley prayed for them, they received freedom from insecurity and received the power of God.
