Igniting Ireland, a church congregation in Ireland, regularly organizes worship nights where they simply focus on Jesus. After one of their most recent worship nights, someone who attended sent in an amazing testimony of being set free by Jesus. The church posted an account of this testimony on Facebook. Read this encouraging story below.
“When James started speaking on our identity and the shame put on us by others words and labels, it honestly felt that the word had been prepared just for me, that God was speaking to me directly. I don’t remember what it was James had said specifically, but it just completely resonated with how I had been feeling and hadn’t been able to articulate it until that moment.
During the ministry time, I received such healing. Stephen, one of the prayer team members, prayed for me and simply asked for Holy Spirit to come and I just broke down into tears. All the shame that I didn’t even know I was carrying, just came out in my tears.
I’ve always been someone who needs to understand everything and work everything out, to the point where I would tie myself up in knots trying to work everything out. But all Stephen did was ask Holy Spirit to come and God set me free.”⠀
