This month, more people than ever joined the March for Life UK in London. More than 7000 people took part in the protest against the abortion laws in Great Britain, Evangelical Times reports. The number of young people taking part has increased.

During the Covid pandemic, the British government introduced provisions allowing at-home medical abortions. While these at-home abortions were meant to be temporary and are said to be dangerous by critics, they are permanently allowed since 30 August.
Thousands of people participated in the March for Life, with the slogan: “Ten million too many”. This refers to the almost ten million abortions that have taken place in the UK since the 1967 Abortion Act.
March for Life UK has three main aims: raising awareness, fostering community, and inspiring people. On their website it says that they want to “raise awareness of the hurt and damage that abortion causes and promote the value of every human life from the first moment of conception.”
The amount of young people participating in the march has increased. The organisers of the march explained that “the overturning of Roe v. Wade in America has had quite a ripple effect across the ocean as more young people than ever paraded through the streets on a lively procession.”
