Hundreds of young people gathered on Paulista Avenue last Sunday (26) for a powerful evangelistic outreach that resulted in numerous healings, conversions, and a sense of revival, writes the Brazilian platform Guiame. Organized by the “Outreach” mission, the event followed similar impactful actions in Rio Grande do Sul and Sertão do Maranhão, bringing the movement’s message to the heart of São Paulo.
More than 100 missionaries from across Brazil participated in the event, which began at 10 a.m. Activities included evangelistic posters, praise music, and a dedicated prayer team. Evangelists Davide Grosso and Rafael Santmour, two prominent voices of the mission, shared their experiences on social media, highlighting the transformative moments witnessed throughout the day.
“This was a time set aside to exalt the One who is worthy of everything! It’s not about names, movements, or people—it’s about Jesus,” Rafael declared on Instagram, quoting Philippians 2:10: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”
A Revival on the Streets
Videos shared on social media captured the deep emotional impact of the event. Many young people testified to feeling the presence of God as the Gospel was ministered.
“Jesus is here to seek and save that which is lost,” said Davide Grosso during his sermon. “The Gospel is our responsibility. The lost are our responsibility. Their eternal destiny depends on our response today. The blood of these people also depends on our response.”
Davide emphasized the Church’s role in reaching out to everyone: “It is not true that the Church does not love the broken or the different. We believe in a God who is not only loving but who is love itself. He demonstrated His love for us, and now it’s our duty to carry that love to the streets.”
He continued passionately: “The streets are our pulpits, and the sidewalks are our offices because there is not a single corner where Jesus is not Lord. Today, our banner here is simple: Christ lives. This is the Church of Christ, whether it’s raining or shining. We are here to declare that Jesus Christ is worthy of our praise, obedience, and surrender.”
Testimonies of Healing and Salvation
The outreach resulted in numerous personal testimonies of healing and transformation. After the evangelistic appeal, many accepted Jesus as their Savior, while others shared how God had healed them physically and spiritually.
One young man testified: “I recently had surgery and couldn’t even walk properly or jump. But now, I feel no pain at all,” he said while jumping for joy.
A woman shared her own experience: “I’ve had a problem with my knee joint since childhood. I was part of my church’s dance ministry but had to stop because my knee wouldn’t allow it. But today, to the honor and glory of the Lord, I am healed. He is a God who restores.”
Another participant recounted their friend’s miraculous transformation: “My friend Duda went to reconcile with Christ. She was addicted to marijuana and struggled with depression to the point of wanting to end her life. But God has completely transformed her. Thank you for all your dedication.”
A Call to Mission
Reflecting on the mission’s purpose, Davide Grosso shared his vision for the year ahead: “I feel that in 2025, Heaven will pour out an anointing and missionary flame upon us that will awaken the Church. This mission teaches us to diminish so that He may be magnified.”
The outreach on Paulista Avenue not only transformed lives but also reaffirmed the Church’s calling to spread the Gospel everywhere—from sidewalks to rooftops, rain or shine.
