For the first time in history church services will be broadcasted every Sunday by the Norwegian public broadcaster (NRK). They will start broadcasting in September, CNE says.

Gudbjørn Bondhus who is a producer at NRK, says NRK aims to make the services easier accessible to all people. “When we broadcast on TV, even those who have hearing problems will be able to catch the content because we will subtitle the programmes”, he told the Christian daily Dagen.

Where in the past NRK just broadcast televised services during holidays, now fixed cameras will be given to six pentecostal congregations. In each congregation one person will be appointed for communication between the congregation and NRK.

Bondhus told the Norwegian journalistic platform Journalisten.no that they have looked for “priests who have good communication skills and congregations with good musical abilities”.

Let’s pray that many Norwegians will be reached with the gospel and encounter the life changing love of Jesus.
